Peter and Beth |
"My husband Peter and I, as well as our sisters and brothers, have all been blessed with healthy grandchildren. It is my vision and mission to help raise awareness and funds to help care for the children of Maine. |
I have always had a great passion for photography, even as a young girl. Photography offers me an opportunity to seek and find the wonder and all the delightful things God has placed around us. It is truly amazing how much we can discover about all existence and ourselves if we really open our eyes and hearts. This is a satisfying experience that nourishes and fulfills me. My hope is that my photographs will bring an essence of peace and beauty to the viewer. Perhaps even a smile! My photographs have always been my treasures, and in the Book of Matthew it is written, "For where your treasure is there will be your heart also." |
My husband's association with The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center and Maine Children's Cancer Program found me attending fundraising events in which he was involved. As I looked at items to be auctioned, and met many people involved in the programs, I found myself longing to contribute something personally, something with meaning to me. With Peter's encouragement and endless support, Beth E. De Simon Photography was created in 2003." |
Since 2003, Beth has been dedicated not only to donating a portion of the sales of her products, but has also donated many products to various fund raising auctions each year. She sincerely thanks her customers and friends for their support as it is due to their purchases that she is able to continue to donate to these worthy causes. |
Beth's images have been chosen for the Covers of the Chamber of Commerce Business and Pleasure Guides for several years. De Lorme Map chose Beth's photography for the Cover of their Sebago Map & Guide.
